TV shows about hackers and cyberpunk culture definitely inspire me, but the real question is this: Can I contribute to a blue team, protecting data and infrastructure from modern cybersecurity threats? The answer is: I don't know yet, but one thing is for sure: risk reduction is a tangible goal.
